ABOUT BUKTA

Bukta was founded in 1879 and started making shorts for soldiers. It wasn't long before demand was high and Bukta began to manufacture other items. Bukta is the worlds first and oldest sportswear brand. In 1884 Bukta produced their first football kit for Nottingham Forest.
Bukta was at it's very peak in the 1970's when they made kits for Ajax, New Zealand All Blacks and West Ham. They also became the official wear for referees and linesman and were also worn by some famous athletes. In the 1980's icons such as George Best and Diego Maradonna wore Bukta strips as did the Manchester United, Arsenal, Everton and Newcastle teams.
Bukta has returned to offer some of the best sportswear adaptations we have ever seen. Watch out for ladieswear coming in Spring/Summer 2007!
